Our Founder – David Lefkovits
David was born in Brazil and raised in Venezuela, South America. Since a very young age, he worked with his family businesses on weekends and summers where he was exposed to entrepreneurial life. By age 13 he was managing one of his family’s business operations on the weekends and school vacations. He moved to the US in 1991 to obtain his Industrial Engineering degree at Georgia Tech (Georgia Institute of Technology). Bio continued below this video….
He commenced his career in technology at a small software firm in Atlanta where he was very involved in the growth of the organization. He developed business operations in Latin America and continued through his company’s merger with a Dutch software company. He then moved to the Netherlands and was based in Amsterdam for five years where he led the European and Asia Pacific operations for the company’s Supply Chain Management division.
In October of 2003, David moved back to the US where he co-founded the LEFKO Group (www.LefkoGroup.com), a real estate development, commercial general contracting and Investments Company in Atlanta. He also founded, in 2008, LEFKO Financial Services which provides floor planning (inventory financing) for used car dealerships.
David has built his companies with a culture and modus operandi that is focused on exceeding customer expectations and operating in a significantly different manner from its industry peers.
His latest venture, Operationalizing Excellence (OpX), began as a hobby following his obsession to systematize excellence in his business operations and to deliver an exceptional customer experience. He developed an actionable framework and model so that his success and results could be replicated in other service based businesses.
